Mission Statement.
We reject the use of illegal substances of dependence
and support the responsible use of medicines and alcohol,
while working on projects of Education, Prevention, Rehabilitation
and support for the families of the chemically dependant.

Fremantle Local Drug Action Group was established in November 1996 and has been active in the provision of Anti Drug Information Displays, courses and presentations for Parents, Schools, Service Clubs, Local Governments and Church Groups throughout Fremantle and surrounding districts. We are prepared to assist any group or individual seeking accurate knowledge on the dangers of experimenting with the use of illicit substances of dependence or the abuse of medicines, alcohol and tobacco. Counselling and advice is available for parents and family groups who have a member dependant on substances of addiction.
Our principal speaker, Mr. James Richardson, is a parent working for the past 16 years to educate the community in the dangers of substances of addiction. His qualifications are:
"Facilitator for Drug Proof Your Kids International Program.
"Schools Drug Education Road Aware Program (WA) authorised to handle Drug Issues in Schools.
"Qualified in the Drugs in Perspective Program (WADASO, WA)
"Qualified in the Protective Behaviours (Stranger Danger) Program.
"Currently Treasurer of the Local Drug Action Groups Inc. Board of Management.
"Has delivered over 150 presentations, Parents Courses and Drug Information talks throughout the Perth Metro area.
"A School Volunteer providing Drug Awareness and Personal Safety courses to Primary schools for Year Seven Students before they go the High School.

Our services are free and we are prepared to conduct a program or assist with advice for, any group or individual to further the Fight against Drugs.
